To accelerate the growth, we’re looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our global, diverse Sales team in our Helsinki office. You’ll join a team driving UpCloud's mid-market and channel customer acquisition. As a Senior Account Executive, you will target high-value opportunities to bring in new accounts for the company in Europe. Your efforts will directly contribute to UpCloud’s growth!
We’re looking for an experienced tech-sales professional who already has an extensive background in high-value complex solution sales and demonstrated experience in bringing in new logos to their business. To be successful in this role, you are someone who takes responsibility for your work and results and solves problems proactively and creatively.
Your responsibilities:
- Managing the entire sales cycle from finding a potential client to closing a deal
- Bringing in needle-moving cloud workloads from well-defined and selected target accounts
- Building trustful relationships and understanding client needs deeply through active outbound efforts
- Proactively learning about UpCloud’s expanding service portfolio and cloud industry trends
- Building a strong pipeline together with the team using various communication channels, such as digital marketing, social media, events, and networks.
- Negotiating agreements and keeping records of sales and data
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge in the IaaS or PaaS business, and demonstrable success in bringing in significant customers to their business
- Proven track record in channel and partner sales
- Deep understanding of the European tech landscape, and proven ability to sell complex technical solutions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with C-level clients, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Experience with modern sales tech tools like Salesforce, Salesloft, 6Sense, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and AI tools
- Willingness to travel in Europe
- Location preferably near Helsinki, as that’s where we are headquartered

The pay range for this role is around 5000 - 6500 euros + variable commission per month, though not to be set in stone as we assess each case individually.
